Located in Dongcheng district in the ancient city of Beijing, the project consisted in the construction of a private courtyard house including the refurbishment of an existing Ming's dynasty building along the street.
Giving a clear reading of the old and the new, the project takes reference from the local architecture and reinterpret it in a contemporary way to merge into its surroundings.
北京东城私宅
该项目位于北京东城的老城区，本次的设计工作是翻新沿街现有的明代老建筑及内部改造为私人宅院。
项目对新旧建筑进行了清晰解读，充分借鉴了当地建筑并运用现代方式重新诠释，使其融入周边环境。
